FREELY MOVEABLE JOINTS

“Beyond the protocol”, with Alan Hext, UK

November 6th - 9th  2026

Catalonia, Spain

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This is an essential workshop in your development of the art and skill of Zero Balancing. So it is recognised as an integral requirement for those on the ZB Certification Program. It builds upon the key foundations of Core ZB by opening you to the wider possibilities of working with the Freely Moveable Joints. This returns you to embodying core principles which cultivates learning ZB bodywork as a way of working with attention through conscious touch.

This workshop is ‘fulcrum rich’, applying the use of ZB principles to new areas and situations. This will enhance your embodiment of the fundamental skills of ZB and build your confidence in addressing your client’s needs in more complete ways.

The workshop generates your creative development of fulcrums, transcending their application as mere mechanical techniques. It awakens levels of awareness to adapt to your client’s individual structure and energy. Sessions take on new dimensions of satisfaction and benefit for both the Zero Balancer and the receiver.

A selection of the joints explored in this workshop includes – Shoulders, Elbows, Wrist and Hand, Knee, Ankle, Toes, TMJ and others. Their anatomy, evaluation and fulcrums will be presented and demonstrated, all in the context of integrating these into a ZB protocol to enrich your art and skills.

This class is for

• ZB students who have completed Core ZB  (ZB I & II)
• Students currently enrolled in the ZB Certification Program
• Certified Zero Balancing practitioners
